About the Event

Knot Works presents Feeling Bright Blue, an exhibition by Kate Sims (@katethingsdotcom).

Kate Sims has the blues. In a world that is literally and metaphorically on fire, how could you not? But, as Regina Spektor once said, blue is ~the most human colour~ and this exhibition holds space for the quiet moments of beauty, joy and optimism that can come from even the darkest blues.

Feeling Bright Blue is an exploration of beauty and joy when it feels like the world is on fire.

The exhibition will feature new works by Kate Sims and an evolving display of portraits which will be taken throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Established in 2021, Knot Works is an arts organisation run by three friends. Their ambition, through the hosting of artist workshops, group crits and exhibitions is to bring people together to learn, share and grow through creativity and the platforming of outstanding arts in Tunbridge Wells.
